Zhou Changjiang was born in Shanghai in 1950. He graduated in oil painting from the Fine Art Department of the Shanghai Academy of Drama and is now director of the Shanghai Oil Painting and Sculpture Association, as well as being a premiere international artist. In addition, he is director of the National Oil Painting Association, Director of the Shanghai Artist Association, member of the Painting Art Committee, secretary-general of the Shanghai Oil Painting Committee, part-time professor in Fine Art, at Shanghai University and full-time professor of Fine Art, at the East China Normal University. His works have received many awards and are widely exhibited and collected, both by institutions and private individuals across the globe.
